School readiness is more than ABC and 123

A child may know letters but still struggle at school if they cannot sit, transition, ask for help, tolerate noise, follow routines, use a pencil, or join group activities.

School readiness therapy looks at the whole child: sensory, motor, communication, attention, emotional regulation, and early learning.

Signs your child may need support

Consider an assessment if your child avoids writing, has frequent meltdowns around school, struggles with instructions, cannot sit for short tasks, or has difficulty joining peers.

The right plan can combine occupational therapy, speech therapy, special education, and parent-school strategies.
